Features
The inner shield steel sheet is a cold-rolled steel sheet that is used mainly for magnetic shielding. It is incorporated inside cathode-ray tubes, TV’s and PC monitors to shut out interferences caused by terrestrial magnetic fields.
Dongbu Steel was first in Korea to produce the ultra-thin (0.15 mm) steel sheet for the nation’s electronic industry, contributing to the localization of products that previously relied on imported components. Recently, inner shield steel sheet with high magnetic permeability, used in large size TV sets and PC monitors, have been heavily developed and promoted.
Superior management of flatness and thickness ensure the thinnest and the most accurate dimensions available. The thickness tolerance of rolling direction/width direction is ±01mm or less. The flatness pitch stands at 600 ~ 1,000mm with a tolerance of 3mm or less.
